I have been on this journey personally. It took me a year to reach my goal weight on a GLP-1 medication, and I micro-dose now to maintain. Even as a Nutrition Educator with sixteen years of experience, I found myself having to go back to the research. The low appetite changed everything. I had to rethink how I was building my plate and get intentional about protein and weight training in a way I had not needed to before.

What surprised me most was the gap in support. The medication was being prescribed. The lifestyle education was not. I had friends going through the same journey and I was the one answering the questions their providers did not have time to address.
